Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 22 September 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to payments made to Rah for registrations, Olympiads and related RahEduOnline services.
1. General Rule - Fees Are Non-Refundable
All successfully paid registration fees, Grade Fees, Olympiad registration fees and other applicable participation fees are non-refundable except in the limited circumstances expressly stated in this policy or where a refund is required by applicable law.
Students and parents or guardians should verify the following before payment:
- Student name.
- Grade.
- Selected Olympiad or Olympiads.
- Contact information.
- Fee amount.
- Other registration details.
2. Missed Examination
No refund will be provided where a student misses an examination.
This includes failure to participate because of:
- Personal reasons.
- Travel.
- Illness or other individual circumstances.
- Failure to remember the examination date or time.
- Device problems.
- Internet connectivity problems on the student's side.
- Failure to log in during the permitted examination window.
- Voluntary withdrawal or non-participation.
3. Cancellation by Student or Parent
A student, parent or guardian may choose not to participate after registration; however, cancellation or withdrawal by the student or parent does not create a right to a refund.
4. Registration Cannot Be Transferred
Paid registration cannot be transferred to another student or person.
Fees paid for one student cannot be transferred or credited to:
- A sibling.
- A friend.
- Another student account.
- Another person.
5. Grade Progression Is Not a Transfer
An existing student's progression from one grade to the next is not considered a transfer.
Where a student has already paid the applicable one-time registration fee for a particular Olympiad, Rah may recognise that prior payment in accordance with the applicable fee rules.
For example, if a student who registered for a particular Olympiad in Grade 1 later registers for the same Olympiad in Grade 2, the applicable new Grade Fee may be charged while the already-paid one-time Olympiad registration fee is not charged again.
6. Olympiad Scheduling
Rah intends to conduct Olympiads made available for registration and does not maintain a normal Olympiad-cancellation programme.
Where exceptional circumstances require a change in examination timing, Rah may reschedule the examination or make other reasonable arrangements.
Rescheduling by itself does not create an entitlement to a refund.
7. Duplicate or Erroneous Payment
A refund may be considered where Rah verifies an exceptional payment issue such as:
- The same registration being charged twice because of a payment-processing error.
- An amount being collected more than once for the same valid order.
- Another payment-processing error confirmed by Rah or the payment provider.
The student or parent may be required to provide:
- Order number.
- Payment reference.
- Transaction date.
- Amount.
- Supporting bank or payment-gateway information.
8. Failed Payment or Bank Reversal
Where a payment fails but an amount temporarily appears as debited, the transaction may be automatically reversed by the bank or payment provider.
Such an automatic reversal is not necessarily a refund issued by Rah.
The time taken for a failed-payment reversal is controlled by the relevant bank, UPI provider, card issuer or payment gateway.
9. Approved Refund Timeline
Where Rah approves a refund, Rah will normally initiate or process the refund within 15 days from the date of approval.
After Rah initiates the refund, additional time may be required by the bank, payment gateway, card network or payment service provider before the amount appears in the payer's account.
Rah cannot control processing delays caused solely by those external financial institutions.
10. Refund Destination
Where practicable, an approved refund will be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Rah may require reasonable verification before processing a refund.
11. No Cash Refund or Transfer
A payment made electronically will not ordinarily be refunded in cash.
Refund entitlement cannot be assigned or transferred to another student or person.
12. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or remedy that Rah is required to provide under applicable law.
